Pushed Too Far

Since 2003 … Pushed Too Far plays HARDCORE. Fast, aggressive, straight to your face with a big fuck you attitude. When you’re going to see PTF expect a hard, energetic set in a room where no one is save. They’ve managed to build up quite a big fan base and turned out to be maybe the biggest DIY band in Belgium. They’ve recorded several records, all of them on their own independent label called ‘Clenched Fist Records’, shared the stage with bands like: Terror, Hoods, Cro Mags, H2O, Walls Of jericho, Madball, No Turning back, Kickback, Sick Of It All…

Like almost every band that’s been around for some time they had their lineup Changes. You might find a bit of a change in the style of music true the years, but they still got the same attitude as in the beginning: Going hard, having fun, not giving a fuck about trends in and outside hardcore and make music that makes you want to start a riot. Now it’s 2010, they’ve got their 3th Full lenght out ! So watch out for Pushed Too Far because the

y’re ready to bring insanity in every venue they’re playing!

Angelskin

Since 2005, ANGELSKIN has embarked on a musical journey in which we practiced like crazy, played over 150 shows in several countries and created a style we feel is fresh and catchy. To this day, all this has culminated in a full CD, “I Line Dance Wherever The Fuck I Want”, released the 27th of November 2010.

In spring/summer 2008, we recorded a 6-song demo still not knowing what direction we were headed musically. Soon after releasing our demo, we hit writing mode. As time progressed, we felt the need to play faster, heavier and more technical. Crossing over between metal, hardcore and everything in between we tried to blend all the cool stuff those genres have to offer. This has resulted in a unique style. Shredding, sing-a-longs, blast beats, 2 steps and massive breakdowns are just a few keywords that come to mind.

In Spring 2010 we recorded 11 brand-new songs at Red Left Hand Studio. Handling the mixing desk was none other than Sven Janssens (The End Of All Reason, ex-Aborted) who gave us the much-needed professional and polished sound we lacked on our demo. The end result fully represents were we are as a band, we feel this is everything we currently have to offer. Now, we are ready to drop this 40-minute bomb on the world. You’d better find some shelter.

Strike With Vengeance

Strike With Vengeance started in 2008 with Wannes doing the leadguitar, Gebo doing the vocals and Jelle on the drums. Like any other band they were in need of a bassplayer so after a couple of weeks Gert Ooms (current PTF member) came in the band. It didn’t take long for Gert to decide that SWV wasn’t his style, he quit.
Still in need of a bassplayer, everybody thought it was necessary to look for a second guitarplayer first. Gebo asked Hans, a friend from the band if he was interested to play with’em. Hans didn’t hesitate and joined them.

Gebo was also good friends with a band called Angelskin, he asked their bassguy Matty if he wanted another band and as lucky as SWV was they had found themselves a bassplayer.
Strike With Vengeance began as a hardcore band without knowing which direction they wanted to go. After many and many rehearsals the pace was getting higher and Jelle wasn’t able to keep up with the rest.

SWV said goodbye to him but to this day he’s still one of their best friends. The search for a new drummer didn’t last long because Hans called an old friend of his, named Ben. Ben Happened to be a good metalcore-drummer, he also joined them and the band was complete.
Late 2009 SWV recorded their first demo which was released early 2010 named WARTIME DEMO. They played a lot of shows over the whole of Belgium during 2010 and 2011. Their style gradually went from hardcore to metalcore and now Strike With Vengeance is about to release their first FULL ALBUM in the spring of 2012!!!! “

Johnny Unstoppable

Johnny  Unstoppable started in august 2006 when 3 members of Aduro, Wim (Vox), Tom (drum), Kenneth (guitar) decided to play some real brutal hardcore. They found a bassplayer in Nicho and the first line up was born. JU played their first show in december in Antwerp (Den Drempel). Response was great and things were looking good. Fast forward to September 2007, Nicho decides to leave JU to become the… new guitarplayer in Pushed Too Far. This was a huge setback for us because we were going to record our first mini cd a couple weeks later, so replacement had to be found…and fast. Nicho recommended his good friend Philippe (Boenk) to us (they had played together in Shotgun and knew eachother for years). Recording went great and a couple months later we released ‘Hard But Fair” but not before we had to search a new guy on vocals because Wim was tired of performing and the Hardcore scene in general, so obviously we had to part ways. Introducing Tim (Penny) of Time Decides and Aduro. people took us more serious and more shows
were added to the list. but there was something missing. we felt like we needed to add a second guitar to our line up, so Philippe decided to switch to guitar (that was his first instrument so it felt like a natural thing to do for him and us). empty spot on bass? not for long. Alex (Forgotten Glory, Treshold Of Pain) is the newest part of the JU family and was already a good friend for years
now.Despite their short existence, Johnny Unstoppable has shared the stage with notorious bands like:
Sworn Enemy, Full Blown Chaos, Lionheart, First
Blood, Arkangel, Surge Of Fury, No Turning Back, Nasty, Kickback, MADBALL, Born
From Pain, The Setup, Merauder, Since The Flood, CDC, Embraced By Hatred, Freya,
Ruiner, Shattered Realm, Length Of Time, NJ Bloodline, Knuckledust …

Crucial Times

One day last summer, I posted ” need a band ” on facebook, and before I knew
it, Bart replied ” me too “.  I said, “then we should start a band” and he was
immediately game. only a few min went by, before Wannes and Yves joined. So now
we had 2 guitars and 2 vocals. The day couldn’t be better!

We needed a drummer and a bass player, and that was a bit trickier.  Pretty
soon we had Kris convinced to take the drum part on him, cause he was already
thinking about a second band, and this was the perfect opportunity…
But then the bass…

We had a few people that tried to take on the roll, but most of them either
didn’t have the time or the best situation to join the group.  But the last one
to have a look was Nick, who was almost immediately psyched to join. He is
actually a guitarist so where really glad he wanted to pick up bass again to
make the group complete, grats !!

Fatal Move

Fatal Move started in the summer of 2008 with some friends who came together and wanted to start a hardcoreband. After many lineup changes (mostly vocalists) they finally found a solid line up in Joeri on drums, Sean on bass, Jens and Kenny on guitar and ziggy on vocals. After playing lots of shows with the likes of No Turning Back (NL), Death Before Dishonor (US), Hoods (US), CDC (US), Downpresser (us), The Setup, Nasty, Surge Of Fury, Cornered (NL), and lots more great bands they decided to record their first MCD in 2012 called “False Hope” and released it under Clenched Fist Records. Fatal Move Stands for hard-hitting hardcore with lyrics of what makes them angry in this sometimes fucked up world and bring their music with passion and high energy performance on stage. One thing is clear, Fatal Move wants to press their mark on the Belgium hardcore scene and won’t stop till they’ve done so, they’re here to stay!

Past bands:

Tear It Down

Tear It Down has come a long way since their first rehearsal somewhere in 2003, yet the line-up changes and different influences made them what they are today: a metalcore band that’s not afraid of trying out new stuff and blending different styles of music. With a lot of shows and 2 Spanish tours in their back pocket, you know they’re skilled enough to make every show a fucking great one. You like trash, you like hardcore, you’re into beatdown, you like metal in every way…you found the band! TID is all about making aggressive music and having fun! 2010 will be an important year for TID: a demo, an MCD and a PromoCD were their first little steps towards the ‘bigger picture’ but this year they‘ll proudly present their first full length album DEFIANCE! Recordings were done at the brand new Red Left Hand Studio by Sven Janssens (Aborted, The End Of All Reason, etc…) and mastering by Kris Belaen at CCR studios

Point Of View

In July 2005 we have decided to make a new start, with another name, a new style and a better motivation. Point of view is a 5 piece oldschool formation hailing from the north of Belgium. After rehearsing and rehearsing we finally managed to make a powerful, positive and dansable set. So we were ready to play our first show in February 2006 at the hardcore at the attic fest! We received some great comments we knew we were on the right track. So we played a shitload of shows and felt ready to record our first demo, “The sake of dedication”. We did a small mini tour to the Netherlands, just to promote our new demo! For us it was a great experience at that time! After writing new songs we decided to record a split cd with pushed too far at studio 195. The record “OSB 2K7″ was released in the end of september 2007 and it opened some doors for us! To promote the new split cd we did a mini eurotour (madrid, montpelier, luik, heerle) in the beginning of november, it was very cool. And we hope to get back on the road as soon as possible. At the end of that year our bass player Kjell decided to leave the band. It was quite a shock but luckily we found a new bass player very fast. Roel joined the band in the beginning of 2008 and took POV to another level! With some powerful and rocking songs in our back pocket we went to the CCR studio to record our first full length called “Hard from the heart”. This cd was released the 11th of October! So if you are ready for some positive energy, buy the record or book us and we will play our fucking hearts out!

Time Decides

Time Decides was formed in the spring of 2006, being a brutal metalcore band. For all of the band members this was their first project, but all of them were motivated to write songs and start playing shows. Since their first show in September 2006, Time Decides has shared the stage with bands like And Their Eyes Were Bloodshot, Arkangel, CDC, Caliban, Heaven Shall Burn, Hatesphere, Six Ft Ditch, Postmortem Promises, … In august 2007 they released their first album, the MCD “Sea Of Questions” a 5 song piece. This year Time Decides will be releasing their second album called “A Harmless Headshot” which will hold 7 songs plus an intro that will give you the creeps. For the new album the band went from regular D tuning to dropped D tuning which makes their sound more aggressive. This second album is faster, more mature and definitely more brutal than their first one. Time Decides promises to all the people who come check them out at shows, to give them an energetic performance and some good old fun! It has all been going extremely fast for these guys and who knows where this ride will end?
